The FAQs

The Workout

What is RowdyBox?

Forget boring workouts. RowdyBox, established in 2019, is the original boxing-inspired fitness experience designed to ignite your inner athlete. We combine the power of boxing with a luxurious setting and team atmosphere to deliver a workout that’s as effective as it is exhilarating. Urban athletes, find your joy in fitness at RowdyBox.

Will I be okay if I’m a beginner or not already in shape?

At RowdyBox, your fitness journey starts here. We welcome all levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes. Our classes are designed to allow you to progress at your own pace. You choose the weights and speed that feel right for you. To make your first class a breeze, please arrive 10 minutes early. Learn more about what to expect.

How often should I take class?

Looking to maximize your RowdyBox experience? We recommend 4 classes per week for optimal results. 3 classes will still get you there, but consistency is key. And most importantly, listen to your body. Rest and recovery are just as important as the workout itself.

Why do days of the week focus on different muscle groups?

We focus on specific muscle groups during floor exercises for two key reasons: safety and results. This targeted approach is the most effective way to get fit fast and allows you to prioritize your fitness goals.

How do I book Private Training?

/sIf you’re interested in working 1:1 with a boxing coach or strength specialist, email us at hello@rowdybox.com. Depending on coach availability, we’ll get you booked!

Buying Memberships

What options do I have for buying classes?

We’ve got two ways to join the RowdyBox family: class packages or a 30-day memberships. Pick the option that suits your style! And as always, bigger commitments mean bigger savings.

What is your refund policy?

We want you to love your RowdyBox experience! While our class packages and memberships are generally non refundable (except where legally required), we highly recommend starting small. This gives you a chance to get to know us, our location, and our style before committing to a larger purchase.

Do you offer special pricing for students, first responders, or military?

Special packages or memberships may be available. Email us at hello@rowdybox.com to inquire.

Do you offer corporate discount or group booking programs?

We do! Email us at hello@rowdybox.com to inquire.

Can I transfer or share my class package or membership?

Class packages can be shared amongst clients, or used to make guest reservations, as long as they’re used within the same market in which they were purchased (ie- not in Jakarta, Indonesia if your membership is from Seattle). Memberships, however, can not be shared and are non-transferable.

Can I freeze my membership?

If you have a recurring membership, you are permitted to freeze your membership 4x per year for up to 4 weeks.

Do my classes roll-over if I don’t use them at the end of the month?

No. Any unused classes will not roll over to the next membership cycle. So, make sure to use up all your classes!

Booking your Spot

Should I start on a bag or bench?

When booking your class, simply choose your starting position: bag or bench – it’s up to you! This automatically secures your spot for the boxing rounds, including when we switch positions. If you’d prefer to focus solely on strength work, book “Double Floor” to skip the boxing altogether. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to focus solely on boxing, book “Double Bag” to skip lifting altogether.

What is your cancellation policy?

Plan ahead! Reservations open 14 days before class, and 7 days for SGT. Please cancel at least 12 hours in advance to allow others to book your spot. Late cancellations – less than 12 hours prior for the Rowdy Room and 24 hours prior for SGT – will result in forfeiture of the class from your package, or, if on a membership, a no show fee will be applied.

What if I miss class?

If you book a class under your membership and don’t show up, you’ll receive a no-show fee. If you have a class package, you just forfeit your class.

How far in advance can I reserve my class?

14 days for class credit holders, 21 days if you’re a member. One of the many perks of being a member is you can book classes 3 weeks in advance.

For SGT, you can book classes up to 1 week in advance. All SGT classes open at 5pm PST on Sunday for the upcoming week.

What if I’m running late to class?

For the Rowdy Room, we do not allow entry after 5 minutes into class. To get the most out of your RowdyBox workout, please arrive 5 minutes early. This allows us to handle all the pre-class prep work so we can start on time and give you the full class experience. Late arrivals are welcome if space permits – for up to 5 minutes following the class start – but please enter quietly and join the workout without disrupting others.

For SGT, we do not allow late entry. This is for your safety – as all necessary class instruction is given at the moment class begins.

What is the waitlist?

Classes often sell out, so join the waitlist if your preferred class is full. You’ll be automatically added as spots open. We’ll email you if you get in more than 6 hours before class. If you cannot attend class after being added from the waitlist, please remove yourself from the class.

Can I move my reservation?

If you are outside the 12-hour cancellation window, you can always switch to another class that’s not already sold out. If you need to move your booking — but there are less than 12 hours until your scheduled class — that’s considered a late cancellation and the above policy would apply.
